Vice President: Ashley Stich, University of Missouri

Growing up as an Air Force brat helped shape Ashley into the person she is today. Of all the places she’s lived she’s always considered Minnesota home since that’s where her family is from but Missouri is a close second. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since fifth grade and has never looked back from that decision. She attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies in Animal Science and Entrepreneurial Studies. While attending ISU she was very involved in organizations such as Dance Marathon and her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. Ashley is currently at the University of Missouri-Columbia completing her DVM and the VBMA has become one of her biggest passions. The organization is truly amazing in its ability to provide such an essential aspect of veterinary medicine to students since it’s often lacking in the curriculum. It has definitely filled up the free time between her classes but she wouldn’t want it any other way. When 2010 finally rolls around Ashley would like to pursue a small animal internship and dermatology residency.
