I was wondering if other schools in our region have a certificate program through the VBMA and how exactly it works. This year we only have two students from the class of 2010 who will receive a certificate. In the previous year we had 15 students graduate with the business certificate. What do you do at your school to encourage students to participate and take the required classes/blocks to meet the requirements? I think it is hard for students to pick a practice management block over a more hands on experience or clinical block. I would like to find more ways to demonstrate the importance and benefits of receiving the certificate. Please let me know how things are done at your schools!
