Hi everyone, we thought we would share with you are most recent event. Last Saturday we had Charlie Powel, WSU CVM Public Relations Officer, host a crisis communication workshop. The event was packed with helpful tips and tricks to deal with media in the event of a crisis. Charlie emphasized the importance of knowing our rights and responsibilities when dealing with the media. The take home message: “Always remember you are never talking to media, you are talking through media to reach your audience.” This was a very useful workshop that covered an aspect of business most of our members hadn’t considered.
