Etiquette Dinner - Veterinary Business Management Association
I wanted to let everyone know about an interesting dinner we had in our chapter this fall. We had a Etiquette Dinner in a formal room at one of the historic buildings on the main U of Ill campus. Beth Reutter who works for the U Of Ill who is a Etiquette expert lectured as we enjoyed a lovely dinner with full table seetings. We learned about proper dining etiquette and about formal dinner behavior. We had excellent feedback from the students about the dinner and it would likely be a fun event to have at other chapters.
The information below is how you can contact Mrs. Reutter if you would like to see if she will travel to your location or if she knows of a similar person at your school.
Live Oak Bank was the sponsor for this event and they were a huge part of its sucess.

Etiquette Dinner
I second Ashley's recommendation for other clubs to look into having a similar meeting. We received amazing feedback from our members about this dinner and it was not only a really informative time, it was also loads of fun!
We couldn't have done it without the generous support of Live Oak Bank. Thanks guys!!

Etiquette Dinner
We held a similar event at Oklahoma State this semester. An expert in etiquette and business functions lectured at a meeting for students. This was followed with a Networking Dinner in conjunction with our school's Fall Conference. Local referring practitioners that represented all backgrounds joined students for a mixer with appetizers that was followed by a 3 course dinner. Students were able to speak with these veterinarians, which included 5 past OVMA presidents, and gather tips to help them with school and employment in the future. We received wonderful feedback from the students and doctors involved. We're looking forward to making this an annual event. Thanks again to our sponsors, Fort Dodge and VCA, for helping to make it a huge success!
