How to Register for the Website:

1. Find the orange bar on the top right-hand corner of the website

2. There is a link in navy blue that says “Create New Account”, click on this link.

3. Create a user name. Use common sense, your user name should be appropriate since you can use the website to network with other VBMA members, VBMA sponsors, industry professionals, vets, and others. REMEMBER, this is an account for you personally, not your chapter.

4. Join the chapter you belong to by click its “Join ….” checkbox. Before you are a part of that group we will have to confirm that you are a paying member of that chapter. We may need to contact you to confirm your name and membership.

5. The other fields are optional but you may fill out your chapter name or your personal name so that they show up on your user profile. If you are a chapter officer entering this information will help us upgrade your account quickly.

6. BEFORE YOU CLICK “CREATE NEW ACCOUNT” please read our privacy policy. The link for it is located below the advertisement and says “Privacy” you can also access it here: http://www.vbma.biz/privacy

7. Click “Create New Account”

Then your temporary password information will be sent to your e-mail address. This temporary password will only last for several days – during that time you need to click on the link provided in the e-mail and reset your own password.

1. Click on the link in the e-mail

2. Fill in your own password (plus a second time for confirmation)

3. Click “submit”

You can access your account and profile information again by logging in and click on “My Account” on the left hand menu in the white area. Then click on the “Edit” tab of your profile and click on the various information fields you would like to enter.

Keep in mind that you can consult the privacy policy to determine what kind of people can see this information. If you have any doubt or concerns about providing information, please be conservative and do not enter it.

If we have more information about your relationship with the VBMA we can allow you to access more portions of our website. If you are comfortable sharing that information, send us a message via our contact page and let us know if you are a:

Alumni (if so what chapter)
Student Member (if so what chapter)
Chapter Officer (if so what chapter)

Once we receive and confirm this information we will upgrade your account.
