Good morning, all!

For most of us, we will be resuming classes in just a short time, while others of you are in session now. At the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, our VBMA chapter really puts a push for membership as the first year students begin orientation and then as the remainder of the student body returns.

Last year we tried something that went over really well - so we are repeating the concept this year. The VBMA chapter purchases an item that we feel would be of interest to almost any vet student here and offers it for sale to everyone. If they are a VBMA member or join right then, they get the item and/or their membership at a discount. Last year it was University of Illinois Vet School license plate frames. This year we have portfolios on order. In a sense it is a fund raiser, but it is also a membership promotion.
