Semester Update
Hello from Purdue!
Our VBMA Chapter has hosted two meetings thus far this semester. The first topic, Media Relations and the Veterinarian, allowed our own development and relations office to advise students about on-camera interviews, written press, and media preparation. The second meeting was presented by Doug Richey from Graduate Leverage. We had rave reviews from students after his presentation about after graduation loan repayment programs. We had several students participate in the VPI contest and are eagerly waiting results. We have one more meeting planned in April and then our semester comes to a close.
Hope everyone had a blast at SAVMA Symposium. Purdue won the bid to host Symposium 2012 so mark it on your calendars and come visit the Purdue VBMA Chapter. We can't wait to have you!

Sounds like a great semester! Does Doug Richey only cover a certain area or do you think he would go and talk to any school? Sounds like a great talk!! Post his information for other chapters to check into.
Congrats to Purdue and Symposium 2012!! I might just have to schedule a vacation rotation at that time!! or maybe a clinical rotation in the area :-)
