If you just want to turn off your e-mail alerts for a specific group do the following (if you want to turn off all e-mail alerts scroll down):

1. Click on the link that says "My Account" under your username on the white, left-hand side of the screen.

2. Click on the green tab that says "Edit" under your profile.

3. Scroll down to where it says "Organic Group Settings", click on that title if you do not see a white box directly below the title.

4. If you do see the box below the title, select the radio button that says "Selectively send email notification based on the checkbox for each of my group's My Membership page."

5. Scroll down and click "Submit" at the bottom of the page

6. This should bring you back to your profile. Scroll down on your profile until you see a navy blue/black link for the group you want to stop receiving e-mails from, click on this link.

7. On the left-hand side of the screen should be a link that says "My Memberships" under the green title with the name of your group. Click on this link.

8. Click the radio button that says "disabled". Then click "submit".

9. This will keep you from receiving any e-mail notices from that chapter.

If you would like to receive NO e-mail notifications then do the following

1. Click on the link that says "My Account" under your username on the white, left-hand side of the screen.

2. Click on the green tab that says "Edit" under your profile.

3. Scroll down to where it says "Organic Group Settings", click on that title if you do not see a white box directly below the title.

4. Click the option that says "Never send email notifications. Useful when tracking activity via RSS feed instead."

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

6. This will keep you from receiving any automated e-mail notices from any chapter.
