VBMA Fundraising
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to get an idea of what other chapters are doing for fundraising! Currently at Oklahoma State we do not do a whole lot of fundraising through our VBMA chapter, we have talked about doing a t-shirt, that previously was sold by the 4th year class, and also business card holders. I am just looking for some new ideas. Also if anyone has sold business card holders, was that a good fundraiser?

We are considering getting
We are considering getting the polos for our chapter officers, but it would be an interesting idea to try to sell them for a fundraiser. I'll shoot Holly and e-mail and see what the deal is with those and get back to you guys.

P.P.S. We were thinking about doing a t-shirt for next year, but it's so hard to come up with an idea that would be appealing enough to turn a profit...

Hey Melanie,
We tried to sell a t-shirt last year and didn't end up selling enough to be profitable - our chapter is pretty small and there just wasn't interest. We ended up giving the shirts to members as an end of the year gift. Also, have you received an e-mail from the national marketing rep about using the VBMA logo on clothing items? We had some students interested in polo shirts, but I was not sure what the protocol was for using the logo now. Thanks!
