Here at NCSU-CVM, we are considering adding a member benefit in the form of a VBMA "Library." This is how it would work:

We have a stock of books (i.e. see the list under "resources - reading list" on this website
We have one officer in charge of the books
A member checks one out online and has 3 weeks to read the book
The officer is in charge of dispersing the books and collecting them

More details are still being worked out, but we would include many of the books listed in the reading list from this site, such as books by Stephen Covey, Ken Blanchard, Malcolm Gladwell, etc. i.e. books that we all hear are fun and "beneficial" to read but we never get around to it! We will use our chapter's funds to buy the books.
