Your chapter's "Big Event"?
I think I have mentioned it before, but we will be having our 2nd Etiquette Dinner on April 1st. I am getting really excited!! We just finished selling the Dr. Wilson books, so I got to announce the benefits of becoming a member and attending the etiquette dinner a bunch of times! We got several new members, and everybody can't wait for the great food!
Does your chapter have any really big and popular events? We are always looking for more!

Can you give me more information on the Dr. Wilson books, I would love to get some of those at Oklahoma State since he does not come to our school. My email is melanie.novak@okstate.edu
Also our chapter does a one day CE business seminar for referral veterinarians to our teaching hospital. We try to get a lot of students to go and provide a networking lunch with the veterinarians in attendance. We have a lot of support from one of our professors who takes care of the CE part and our chapter is responsible for getting student involvement, finding the speakers, setting up the lunch, etc. We have business education in the morning, the networking lunch, and then clinicians from out teaching hospital do short lectures through the afternoon.
