Student Learning Objectives:

Learn to evaluate the issues in employment contracts and practice valuations, improve skills with the use of Excel spreadsheets make financial decisions from them, draft issues from oral consultations into written reports.

Description of Activities:

Contract and practice management consults, operational audits of veterinary practices, writing articles for veterinary publications, creating initial drafts of reports and assisting with evaluations and recommendations regarding fees for veterinary services for PVMC consulting clients.

Methods of Evaluation:

Observing ability to convert oral discussions to succinct written materials and ability to work independently on business and legal consulting projects. Observing creative problem-solving skills.

8-12 hours per day, 5 days/week
