Every winter VBMA Chapter officers take advantage of networking with other chapter officers as well as amazing professionals in the business at the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando, Florida!

It is here the weekend NAVC officially starts we host our own VBMA National Meeting where we discuss how to be effective business professionals, leaders for our schools and chapters and invite professionals attending NAVC to experience the greatness that is the VBMA. This is the first opportunity for new National VBMA officers to reveal their goals for the year and with over 140 VBMA student chapter officers, discuss ways to increase membership, business education as well as listen to the struggles of the chapters. The National Meeting is imperative for these reasons and the result of this meeting makes our organization even stronger.

A popular event we host at NAVC is 'Speed Networking'. This event plays off the similar tatics of speed dating, going table to table meeting with invited professionals (Clinciians & industry) also attending NAVC and our VBMA attendees! It is here they get the opportunity to discuss business, life after school and establish the opportunity to meet great mentors and get contacts to bring back to their chapters for future lecturers.

NAVC is a perfect time for us to thank our sponsors, as without them none of this would be possible. We also showcase our top 5 chapters of the year, based off of membership, business education and compliance with the National requirements, and showcase the innovative events chapters across the nation and world have hosted. This is a time where International chapter officers have great opportunities to network in the U.S., this is so important as many american students are chosing to go overseas for their veterinary education and as business education is important for all veterinary students-no matter their location.

The weekend is full of information but we never leave without having a little fun! Every year a suprise event is held the last night of the National Meeting and this year we had amazing support from Live Oak Bank who sent each and every VBMA National Meeting attendee to Disney World!
