The Road After Veterinary School....Life is What Happens to You While You Are Planning It

The VBMA would like to invite you to join us for an informative talk and question and answer session with the Veterinary Information Network (VIN) President and co-founder Dr. Paul Pion. He graduated from Cornell University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, completed an internship at New York AMC in 1984 and completed his residency in Cardiology here at UC Davis in 1987. He also discovered the link between Taurine deficiency and dilated cardiomyopathy in cats!

With his creation of VIN, Dr. Pion has played an instrumental role in brining together the various sectors of veterinary medicine to form a more unified profession and he has been gracious enough to bring his knowledge to share with all of us.

The topic will be "The Road After Veterinary School....Life is What Happens to You While You Are Planning It." Come hear advice and ask questions about the importance of building relationships as part of your future career, employer expectations and how to market yourself as more of the precious commodity that you are!
